Currently, if using fixed-day billing Storeganise will pro rate the current month as well as charge for the following month. This can be problematic if a customer is moving in early in the month (i.e. 2nd, 3rd, etc.) as they end up paying nearly 2 entire months of rent up front. There should be an option for operators to choose how far in advanced they'd like to pro rate. Example, if moving in prior to the 15th then the customer only pays for the current pro rated month. If moving in after the 15th the customer pays for the current pro rated month plus the full following month.

In fixed billing date, the Clients who move-in into a unit in the middle of the month have their invoices raised on the date they move-in but the invoice period is for the next month. The clients have to pay the prorated rent as well as the advance rent for the next month. This is not agreed by all Clients. Also the Accounting teams do not agree with the invoice period. Introduce a trigger that allows the invoices to be raised only on the fixed billing date regardless of the clients move-in date. This allows the invoice to contain the prorated rent from the date they move-in to the end of the month and the particular month rent. For Example if the fixed billing date is 1st of every month, and the move-in date of a client is Nov 25th, 2023 then his invoice should be generated on Dec 1st, 2023 instead of Nov 25th, 2023. The invoice contains the prorated rent dated from Nov 25th, 2023 to Nov 30th, 2023 and the particular month rent i.e, Dec 1st, 2023 to Dec 31st, 2023 rent amount.
